The spiritual leader of a militant group that claimed to have beheaded two American hostages in Iraq has been killed in a U.S. airstrike, and his Jordanian family is preparing a wake, a newspaper and Islamic clerics said Wednesday.
Sheik Abu Anas al-Shami, 35, was killed when a missile hit the car he was traveling in on Friday in the west Baghdad suburb of Abu-Ghraib, said the clerics, who have close ties to the family. They spoke on condition of anonymity.
Al-Shami was a close aide to Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the leader of the militant group Tawhid and Jihad. The al-Qaida-linked group is blamed for some of the biggest attacks in Iraq, including the bombing of the U.N. headquarters last year, and the beheadings of foreign hostages — including two Americans this week.
Good, hope the fucker died in agonizing pain!

When are we going to get some balls and blow the hell out of IRAN? They are 95% responsible for all the attacks going on in Iraq. If we keep going like we are there is going to be another attack here in the US. It is time to put away the political correctness and get down and dirty just like they are. Take some of their people we are holding (the ones we know are Al-Queda and everytime they kill one of ours we kill one of theirs!!!!If you want more of our women and children killed keep ignoring Iran!!! We should have taken care of them when they took our hostages!!!!!! Our country needs some BACKBONE not that pussy John Kerry!!!!!!!!! Speak up America!!!!!!

I didn't want to see the beheadings of Mr. Armstrong or Mr. Hensley, however, I felt a strong need to pray for them and I didn't feel I could do so properly until I saw what they had to endure, so I made myself watch the incredibly, mind-boggeling, disgusting horrifying deaths of those two men. God, be with them! And I haven't ever allowed myself to truly "hate" another human being until I saw these videos. But can a rational and civil human being consider these disgusting animals even a human being? The entire world should be involved in ridding our world of them!!!

Everytime I see a "beheading" I hope I'm just gonna wake up & find out that this is just some sick horror movie that I stayed up too late the night before and watched =(

Iran will be next on the list untill they control all the oil producing nations. well done.

i am just waiting to see when the president gets pissed off enough to pull our troops out and nuke the hell out of these people that are doing this to us. because it's obvious that the iraqi people aren't going to do nothing to stop it. go on mr. president, you can do it.
