There is breaking news on the Blogosphere on new documents unearthed regarding John Kerrys anti-war movement being supported by Vietnamese Communists.
In The Bullpen and Wizbang are on the case and doing some deep digging.
Here's a small excerpt of what they've found, go check out their sites for more.
The first documentary evidence that Vietnamese communists were directly steering John Kerry's antiwar group Vietnam Veterans Against the War has been discovered in a U.S. archive, according to a researcher who spoke with WorldNetDaily.
One freshly unearthed document, captured by the U.S. from Vietnamese communists in 1971 and later translated, indicates the Viet Cong and North Vietnamese delegations to the Paris peace talks that year were used as the communications link to direct the activities of Kerry and other antiwar activists who attended.
I'm sure the left will come out and blab once again about how "this is nothing, just more slanderous items".

So Now they want to paint Kerry as a Communist Propaganda tool...

Digger, do you honestly believe that such a document exists and has been hidden all these years? Come on ... the first time Kerry ever ticked the conservative side off ... this would have came out of that vault.
To me, this is about as silly as all the records about Bush that are supposed to be hidden and stuff. That is why I never blog about either. It is just bull to get one side going after another.

Well, from just reading that (what that blog had to say and reading the document) ... I don't know. The document is written in English and states that it possibly was reproduced by an agency district party comittee of the VC Region 6. It doesn't say that it definitely was and from reading it ... who knows. I could have been written by someone interested in the anti-war movement or someone directly involved. It could have been written by someone working to affect the war movement from behind the scenes.
It is not hidden that John Kerry met in Paris and talked to the delegations present at the Peace Talks.
From: http://www.c-span.org/vote2004/jkerrytestimony.asp
"My feeling, Senator, is undoubtedly this Congress, and I don't mean to sound pessimistic, but I do not believe that this Congress will, in fact, end the war as we would like to, which is immediately and unilaterally and, therefore, if I were to speak I would say we would set a date and the date obviously would be the earliest possible date. But I would like to say, in answering that, that I do not believe it is necessary to stall any longer. I have been to Paris. I have talked with both delegations at the peace talks, that is to say the Democratic Republic of Vietnam and the Provisional Revolutionary Government and of all eight of Madam Binh's points it has been stated time and time again, and was stated by Senator Vance Hartke when he returned from Paris, and it has been stated by many other officials of this Government, if the United States were to set a date for withdrawal the prisoners of war would be returned."
I would think that if it could have been proven back then that Kerry was doing something illegal, it would have. A lot of people, especially people like the SBV, weren't happy with him then and they still aren't happy with him now. I can't believe that they wouldn't have exposed any proof they could have found way before now, if it exists.
