Army of Ansar al-Sunnah has released a video (
see the video here) of 11 Iraqi National Guard troops it claims it has taken hostage.
Boston Globe
An Iraqi insurgent group said on its Web site Tuesday it had taken 11 Iraqi National Guard soldiers hostage and showed pictures of them in uniform.
The Ansar al-Sunnah Army said the troops were captured on the highway between Baghdad and Hillah but did not say when they were seized. The posting included the names of all 11.
The authenticity of the posting could not immediately be verified.
Tipped by: The Jawa Report, who also disputes the Globes lack of authenticity claims and also has some more information on the terrorist group and other attrocities they have carried out.
Army of Ansar al-Sunna is the same group that killed 12 Nepali Hostages back in August and recently beheaded Barea Nafea Dawoud Ibrahim, an Iraqi contractor, of which there is a video here.
