In The Bullpen has secured an interview with Troy Jenkins. Troy Jenkins, a former Crypto Chief in the US Navy with 20 years experience in intelligence, served with Senator Kerry on the US/Russia Joint Commission on POW/MIA's from '94-'98.
Troy Jenkins is also the man who tracked down the recent documents that link US anti-war movements to the Vietnamese Communist Party during the Vietnam War.
Here's a little teaser from the interview.
Jenkins: The fact that this material was from the VC and had been captured "in country" was the most important to me. The details to which the Communists were directing U.S. protests and anti-war movements was absolutely astonishing. This wasn't something I was reading in a history book – this was their own words
If you haven't been following this story you can read these 3 pieces that Chad has written on the subject. He also has online copies of the actual documents, which were captured in Vietnam by intelligence agents during the war.
