US-led forces in Iraq have captured a senior member of the Al Qaeda-linked network led by Jordanian militant Abu Musab al-Zarqawi in a raid in Baghdad, the Iraqi Government says.
...
Kurdi, ... also known as Ridha, was the brother of Umar Baziyani, a Zarqawi lieutenant captured in May.
"Ridha was responsible for facilitating communications between Al Qaeda and the Zarqawi terror networks as well as coordinating the movement of terrorists in and out of Iraq," a Government statement said.
"Both Ridha and Umar Baziyani remain in detention and are being question by Iraqi and coalition forces."
We're whittling them down. Breaking up someone who is running communications and coordination should put a little wrinkle in their plans and maybe put some more terrorists at risk.

My fellow Muslims...hear the word long written down. We are in troubled days. We do not like the American occupation of our land but we are now growing more fearfull and hatefull to al Qaida and its ruthless and evil actions. Killing Muslims and Iraqi citizens is not our way. Zarqawi has brought shame to us and if his actions are of Osama then we spit at his feet and turn our backs to him as well.
