The Counterterrorism Blog has the story of an airport inspector with the US Transportation and Safety Board being beaten, robbed and jailed by Mexican police. Mexico just looks better and better everyday.
This official, who is in charge of surveying and assessing Mexican airports to ensure that they meet the U.S. Government security requirements, left his hotel room in Tijuana, Mexico on Friday evening and crossed the street to buy his daughter a gift. While returning from the gift shop he was accosted by two Mexican police officers. They pulled the U.S. Federal agent into an alley and beat him while demanding $1,000.
Rather than confront Mexico, the TSA is covering this up and actually blaming the official for leaving his hotel room. Hmm, what other subject does the US not confront Mexico with and instead blame the victim for? Ohhh, that's right illegal aliens.

Read the article for yourself. Mexico should be classified as a outlaw state or a terrorist state, in any case, we need to be issuing travel warnings and slowing the flow of tourists across the borders.
