Pro illegal alien groups turned out to celebrate Cesar Chavez Day a few days ago at Berkeley. It would have helped if they had actually researched Cesar Chavez. If they would have just done some basic research on the labor leader they would have found that Chavez was so in favor of the workers here in the country and their fair pay that he called for an increase in border patrol, stiffer employer sanctions, interior enforcement and regularly reported illegal aliens to the INS. Illegal aliens are a main cause for the continuous downward pressure on wages in the agriculture industry. Those here legally working in that industry are the main victims of these criminals.
So, proponents of open borders and illegal aliens, before you go rally for a hero of yours and then openly state the total opposite of that leaders beliefs, open a book. Just because he was Hispanic doesn't mean that he would have agreed with you.
