(Rio Grande Valley) The Minuteman Civil Defense Corps has launched a campaign to stem the flow of illegal aliens into and through South Texas. As a result, the Mexican Consulate in Brownsville sent a warning.
"The [Mexican] consulate will be alert for human rights violations or anything illegal, and would be disposed to sue the group for any trespasses."
Now, the Minutemen took that as a threat and lashed out Monday at the Mexican Government, calling it 'corrupt and heartless,' saying they don't blame Mexican nationals who are "voting with their feet" by crossing the Rio Grande. The Minutemen blame the Mexican government for the problem.
Local Texas officials have also
issued a warning to the Minutemen in addition to rules of engagement.
Arguably, if the Mexican government and local Texas officials were as dedicated to stopping illegal aliens as they are to policing the Minuteman Corps, there would probably be no need for the volunteers in the first place.
A rational observer would have to wonder why the groups are not all working in unison. Of course, a rational observer would mistakenly assume that the Mexican government, the Texas officials, and the Minuteman Corps are pursuing the same goal, a secure border.
In a somewhat related story from South Texas, a Mexican national, and probably illegal, was arrested for the rape of a 3-year-old girl.

Meaning that they let people cross with impunity..wonder how much money is exchanged between these 2 cities? The minutemen have an EXCELLENT track record in other states, why are these 2 cities so afraid?

Have you people lost touch with reality. Everyone rants and raves about paying too much in taxes, high cost of living, high medical bills, blah blah blah. You people are a joke. Do you know why you have to pay so much out of pocket and our taxes and funds are tossed away. Because we are footing the bill to take care of poor countries and we can't even take care of our own!
Look at the poverty that got exposed in LA. because of Hurricane Katrina! you want to cry about human rights, why aren't we taking care of our own AMERICAN HUMAN RIGHTS FIRST!
Illegal aliens flooding across the border are straining our resources, of course the Mexican government isn't going to do crap, why should they, let America pay of it and the stupid Americans who protect the illegals.
Let me tell you something, you try going to Mexico or Asia or any other country and do something illegal, you will be tossed in prison so fast your head will spin. And you will have NO HUMAN RIGHTS!
Crossing the border illegally is against the law! hello that is why it's called illegal alien and should be treated as such, someone who broke our law!
Our border states medical system is in shambles for illegals coming here, using our hospitals and not paying the bill!
You think they are doing work that Americans don't want to? this is a funny one. If they WEREN'T here to do it, then the issue would be brought to light and something could be done about raising the low wages of these jobs and giving benefits to make these jobs more attractable to the uneducated American! But no, since we don't give a crap that millions of illegals are here doing the job for cheap, then no one has to do anything about improving it!
The minutemen are doing nothing wrong but protecting our country and trying to get our lost, corrupt government to do something about this problem. Our military should be protecting our borders just like EVERY OTHER COUNTRY IN THIS WORLD!! you obviously no nothing about other countries, no where in the world can you break the law and have nothing done to you like you can in the U.S.
So keep up the stupidity America, that is what we are good at.
