Bernard Planche, a French engineer working for a a group called AACCESS rehabilitating areas in Iraq, was kidnapped in the Mansour district. One interesting difference in this hostage taking is that it seems a female terrorist was involved.
There are not a lot of details on who the terrorists may be at this time.

A nearby policeman opened fire. The gunmen returned fire and fled with their hostage. The policeman said blood was visible on the doorstep.
