A new report, to be released next week, details the increase in immigration within the past 5 years. This is the highest period of immigration in US history. Half of those immigrants are illegal.

2000-2005 is the highest five-year period of new immigration (legal and illegal) in American history. Almost half of new arrivals are estimated to be illegal aliens.

The new report provides a detailed picture of the socio-economic status of immigrants, including estimates for illegal aliens. States with the largest increase in immigrants are California, Texas Georgia, New Jersey, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Washington, Virginia, Arizona, Tennessee, Minnesota, and Nevada.

For those of you not in the states listed above realize that you are being affected indirectly. See my entry on how the census numbers count illegal aliens and take seats in the House from your state and give it to the states listed above because they have a higher population.
