A new report out in Minnesota studying the costs of illegal aliens on the state estimates that the yearly expenditure for education, health care and criminal incarceration costs taxpayers of the state $180 million a year. There are an estimates 80,000-85,000 illegal aliens in the state. Of that only 1,571 illegal aliens were deported in 2004 and there are more than 500 sitting in prisons suckling off the taxpayers tit.

The illegal immigrants cost the state from $146 million to $156 million in added K-12 public education expenses alone for the 2004 fiscal year, the report said. More than 17,000 children of illegal immigrants are believed to be Minnesota schools.
The report also estimated an extra $17 million in public assistance health care programs and $13 million for criminal incarceration for the 2005 fiscal year.
It's not just a border state issue.
