Judge Edward Cashman of Vermont changed the sentence of Mark Hulett, for molesting a 7-year-old girl for 4 years, from 60 days to 3-10 years. Still a ridiculous sentence. Mark Hulett will more than likely get out on parole in 3 years. His sentence will not even be as long as he molested the 7-year-old girl for and the sentence of a life of psychological damage he has given her.
Mark Hulett pleaded guilty to the charges.

A judge who was widely vilified after sentencing a man to just 60 days in jail for sexually abusing a child said Thursday he would increase that sentence to at least three years.
Judge Edward Cashman said he felt he could impose the longer sentence now because the state had agreed to provide treatment to the man while he is behind bars.

"The court agrees a punitive response _ punishment _ is a valuable and necessary component of society's response to criminal conduct," he said. "It is a tool that the court has routinely used for the past 24 years on the trial bench. As stated during the sentencing hearing, however, punishment is not enough of a response in some cases.
"This is one of those cases," he said.
Judge Edward Cashman is an asshole.

If you knew anything at all about the Cashman case in Vermont you would know that the conservative Republican judge knew what he was doing in his first decision. Aside from abiding by the law in his first decision, his foremost concern WAS for public safety. You, sir, are the asshole, for spreading rumors with your uninformed vitriol.

And you sir can burn in a pit of hell with Judge Edward Cashman for allowing someone who is attracted to having sex with 7-year-old girls back on the street to re-offend.
There's no cure for pedophilia. It's a fetish that doesn't go away no matter how long the treatment.

Well people, Mark Hulett went to court today here in VT and it looks like he will be back on the streets to re-offend. Once a sex offender, always a sex offender. They do not get better. All the treatment in the world can not help them. We have to many children in VT and around were he lives to have him here. Nobody wants to live next to or have them in their community. They should make a community with electric fences around it aand very tall. Only for them and in the very back woods away from society. 5b4975

This judge is guilty of molesting kids since he released this animal so he could find another little girl and should DIE
The father of the little girl has the right and DUTY to deal with the animal that molested his daughter and the 2-bit "judge" that released him.
If I was the father they would both be dead within the next 30 days.
