First off I'd like to point out that I'm not giving up anything for lent. Oh no, God's gonna strike me dead because I didn't stop doing something today. Oh the humanity. Ok on with the real stories of the day!
Backcountry Conservative has the story on a Clemson student raffling off an AK-47
Alpha Patriot and Freedom Folks report that China is headed for a huge economic crash.
Captain's Quarters has found that our "good friends" Mexico have slapped a 30% tariff on U.S. milk imports. Whatever happened to NAFTA?
Captain's Quarters also finds that Red Cross money is going to celebrity parties. Fun. Both the Red Cross and the celebrities should be ashamed of themselves. Partying it up on donated money while people are suffering.
The Education Wonks tells us average U.S. family income fell for the first time in 12 years and net worth barely budged between 2001 and 2004. Keep on outsourcing, whooohoo.
The Education Wonks also has Carnival of Education week #56
Ex-Donkey has this weeks RINO Sightings! Go have a read.
The sometimes sighted here Confederate Yankee gets interviewed by The Washington Post! Congrats!
INDC Bill is taking a break. Something about a bunch of a-holes and being sick of it all.
So that wraps up the "Lent" edition...
