According to an AP report 25% of school children did not attend classes in the Los Angeles area school district on Monday due to their parents pulling them out for the "Day Without An Immigrant" protests for illegal alien rights. As not all illegal alien children were pulled from school it would only be logical to come to the conclusion that many more than 25% of the children in the LA unified school district are illegal aliens.
The flip side of this is that for at least one day this year the school children actually got the attention they deserved since their class sizes were smaller. It's a shame it couldn't be that way everyday. Large Class sizes is just one of the many impacts this massive invasion of illegal aliens has had on our country.
The impact on some school systems was significant. In the sprawling Los Angeles Unified School District, which is 73 percent Hispanic, about 72,000 middle and high school students were absent — roughly one in every four.
Not only have the protests pissed off Americans nationwide, but they have also glaringly exposed the services being used by illegal aliens and the employers that hire them.
Tyson Foods Inc., the world's largest meat producer, shuttered about a dozen of its more than 100 plants. Eight of 14 Perdue Farms chicken plants also closed for the day.
The rallies shut down 29 branches of Chipotle Mexican Grill, a Denver-based fast-casual dining chain. Goya Foods, which bills itself as the nation's largest Hispanic-owned food chain, suspended delivery everywhere except Florida in what the company called a gesture of solidarity.

The construction industry was hard hit in Florida. More than half the workers at construction sites in Miami-Dade County did not show up, according to Bill Spann, executive vice president of the Associated General Contractors of Greater Florida.
A big giant spotlight should be pointed at all of these businesses for their support and aiding and abetting of illegal aliens through illegal hiring practices.
Of course nothing will be done because the politicians refuse to enforce the law. It's a travesty for the American people and for legal residents in the lower income brackets who rely on jobs in those areas, but are being tossed aside in order to hire illegal aliens at a cheaper wage on a massive scale.
Action needs to be taken on these issues. Fax your representatives for free and give them a piece of your mind now! Speak up or this deliberate breaking of our laws and raping of the taxpayers will continue unabated as it has for more than 25 years.

I'm American and I'm NOT an immigrant although my one grandfather was from Denmark in the 1800's and my great grandmother on my dad's side was from Ireland; the rest of family is from USA for generations back and I'm related to John Quincy Adams. My husband's background is English and Irish and American Indian. All legally immigrated to USA 7-8 generations ago! I have hundreds of friends through the years from many countries around the world; many I helped become USA citizens and have helped them through the long process of green cards all the way to their vows of citizenship.

Our son has lost hours of work this week because of these marches and is not paid and that is a shame; he is not an immigrant! He lost further work last year in construction as he was making $150 a day and came to work one day and the contractor said $75 now take it or leave it, they work cheaper, pointing to Mexicans! Our Chinese neighbor lost work as 50% at her company walked off for the marches. My husband lost his work as his company closed 9 years ago due to cheaper labor being done in Mexico: he had to retire at 55yo with Teamster pension as he'd worked there 30 years! I have lost work and not received jobs in the past as I was NOT bi-lingual as an Executive Assistant! Furthermore, why should we be forced to read, write and speak Spanish i.e. billboards and signs and workers, when this is America in which we speak ENGLISH?
We are angry: we pay taxes for babies being born to illegals who receive free lunches, free medical, free school, food and social services for people who can't afford them! I didn't even get to complete college in 1973 because I couldn't receive more benefits at that time! Now illegals get free higher education? This is ridiculous!
