Over at Drink This... my favorite glass of milk on the web tipped me off to this birthday thingy that gives you all kinds of facts about your date of birth and "astrology crap" -- which I don't really believe, but find fascinating for some odd reason.

She came up as a Cedar tree, I came up as a Fir. (truth's in bold, comments in parens)

Fir Tree, the Mysterious

Extraordinary taste, dignity (too much, almost an "over-pride"), cultivated airs, loves anything beautiful, moody (you just don't know), stubborn (I'm part Italian, what'd you expect?), tends to egoism but cares for those close to it (while I'm not an "it", my ego is not massive except when I know I'm right), rather modest (an egoist who's rather modest... that's me, contradictory), very ambitious (though age has tempered this a tad), talented (does bolding that make me an egoist ;) ), industrious uncontent lover (can't get enough), many friends, many foes, very reliable (depends on if I'm interested in something, reliability is directly proportional to my interest level).

I was born in the year of the rat, whatever that means. If it means I snitch on people then this is totally wrong. I am like a vault when it comes to secrets.

Here's a couple things from my life path number...

I'd say for the most part this is dead on except for the over attempt at leadership. I have nothing against leadership if I feel I know the subject well enough, but I have no problems with deferring if others are better suited to lead. I guess this fits pretty well with the start-up Chief Technology Officer mentality when I was in the valley during the dot com boom.

Highly original, you may have talents as an inventor or innovator of some sort. In any work that you choose, your independent attitude can show through. You have very strong personal needs and desires, and you feel it is always necessary to follow your own convictions. You tire of routine and highly detailed tasks rather quickly.

Haha! Understatement of the century! I bore rather quickly with routine. Maybe it's my military brat upbringing -- with moving ever 4 years or so -- and my Navy "career".
