"It is simply unacceptable for people to sneak into this country illegally on Thursday, obtain a government-issued I-D on Friday, head for the welfare office on Monday and cast a vote on Tuesday". That's what Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue said last week when announcing a crackdown on illegal aliens obtaining fraudulent documents.
How any American could disagree with his statement is beyond me. It would be akin to saying "Illegal aliens should be able to hop the border, commit fraud and get paid for it at the expense of the US taxpayer. Yes I agree with that wholeheartedly".
Well apparently there are some in this country who believe that. Hispanic and Black leaders came out today and called for Governor Perdue to retract his statement. That's right. They actually agree with the above ridiculous statement that illegals should be left to continue breaking our laws. What kind of leaders are these and why would anyone in their right mind agree with them?
These "leaders" should be publicly shamed by everyone in America.

The Coordinating Council of Community Leaders, who organized the rally at the Capitol, delivered to the governor's office Monday a letter blasting Perdue's comments, saying --quote-- "We are distraught that ... statements made last week will only increase the climate of suspicion around Latino immigrants and increase racial profiling."
Yeah, sure, whatever. Cracking down on document fraud should be avoided at all costs according to these traitors.
Governor Perdue says he will not back down, nor apologize for stating the truth.
