Community Protection Act of 2006 (HR 6094)
This bill would allow detention of an illegal alien tied to gang and terrorist activity for an indefinite time -- renewable every six months -- while awaiting removal rather than releasing them back into the population. This includes gang members entering the US and in the US who are planning on engaging in gang activity here. it also requires DHS to report to Congress on the number of individuals being held under this provision.
Also allows for the removal of the dangerous alien to their country even if their life or freedom may be threatened there and deny them an asylum claim. Also it would not allow for any judicial review of such. So no judge or court stepping in to save a criminal thug. We don't need people like that in our country.
That portion bolded above is an important part of this bill as some bleeding hearts out there would cry foul even if we tried to return "Scarface" back to Cuba. I personally think if you are attacking, robbing, beating, killing, threatening, embezzling from innocent citizens and legal residents of this country that you should be kicked out whether your life may be in danger in your home country. They should have thought of that before they decided to become a criminal.
