Debbie Schlussel passes on the rumor that Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Michael Chertoff and Head of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)
Julie Myers could be on their way out the door. We here at The Realm would not miss them one bit.
While a few raids here and there have been made, there are already existing laws on the books regarding immigration enforcement and neither Michael Chertoff, nor Julie Myers, have really enforced them. Just seeing what they've done it looks to me like they tried to do the bare minimum they could to justify their jobs. Of course I don't think they did enough to even justify those.
So if they are forced out I'm all for it.
The only question is that with a bunch of pansies regarding illegal immigration in leadership positions, will we end up with even worse people in those positions?
More than likely we will.
Sorry, yes we can deport 12 million people. No problem at all. All it takes are the right laws, organization and guts.
President Eisenhower in 4 months with 700 men deported 1.5 million Mexicans. Yes it can be done. And that whole anchor baby issue is a non issue. All over the world, it is fairly common for kids not necesarily to have the same citizenship as their parents. The minor kids go where ever their parents go. No one else in the world has a problem with it.
In fact, in order to prevent anchor babies 18 years from now bringing in 10 family members each, we better change our laws so that people do not have the right. Or we will be totally swamped again.
South Korea said that the USA in 30 years will be a third world country because of the illegal immigation. They are right. We cannot pay for the 12 million, and keep up our infrastruture. In twenty years there will be a 2.5 trillion unfunded entitlement for the illegals, and that is after their contribution. You want to pay 5 times your present taxes so the illegals can stay?
No the only solution is removal of all 12 million. If they cannot get jobs, apartments, benefits etc, they will self deport to a large degree. The rest will need to be rounded up, by the miltiary if necessary.
This is our country, if we leave the 12 million illegals here, not only have we turned our back on the rule of law, but our country is gone. And what American will bother obeying the law again?
