Sears has stooped to a new low. A reader over at Debbie Schlussel spotted the "Aztlan Pride" T-Shirt below on the Sears online store under "Men's Novelty Shirts".
For those not "in the know", according to the Reconquista movement, Aztlan is the southwest portion of the United States that they claim is part of occupied Mexico "and will be liberated again some day".
I'm not sure how long they've been selling these shirts, but the amazing thing is that they are selling them right next to shirts emblazoned with the American flag. I guess "anything for a buck", even selling out your country, eh Sears?
Maybe you'd like to send Sears some comments on their support for the overthrow of our southern states.
I sent this:
To whom it may concern,
Not to long ago I wrote a letter to thank you for your support of our troops overseas and I would like to reiterate that I believe your program in this regard is #1.
However, it has come to my attention that you are selling shirts that promote "Azatlan Pride." You may not know this, but that is code for the Reconquista movement that seeks to make several of our southern states part of Mexico. By promoting this you are cutting the troops you support off at the knees. They are fighting everyday to keep this country a united whole and I hate to see anything that undermines that effort. Please reconsider this product line.
Thank you for your time,
