I personally look at the Iraq resolution as a bunch of grandstanding people in Congress, many who were never in the military, never grew up in a military household or never actually held a leadership position in the military, sitting around trying to pretend they went to the War College and know what is actually militarily possible. I find it almost laughable... almost... if it wasn't so serious.
These people put a General in charge and then sit around bitching about his recommendations before he's even had a chance to actually implement them. A bunch of pessimistic assholes if you will. "We'll never win", "We're not good enough", "Waaah waahhhh wahhh".
Well if you're not sick of it all yet or just want to see some ridiculousness by our mostly rich "leaders", go watch this video put together by Chad at In The Bullpen entitled "Confusion on Capitol Hill"
I find it hilarious that these people pretend to care about the military. This is 100% political grandstanding by those who obviously haven't actually researched the issue and are just doing what their "handlers" are telling them to do in order to get re-elected.
