I've been having a lot of technical difficulties while I've been here and that is one of the reasons that there are so few posts.
Now time for me to vent... and note most of this is because I'm a poor bastard who doesn't have a laptop, decent video camera or any of that stuff the other bloggers hauled along.
First of all I was expecting there to be at least one general machine here and I didn't have a laptop so I've been borrowing people's machines here and there. Unfortunately this means I don't have access to Photoshop and a lot of the basic stuff I need to edit the 250-300 pictures I currently have. To put it bluntly I'm a little annoyed, not at the event, but just at my lack of access to what I need to do what I want to do,
I also have video which I haven't been able to move onto the web. This "shoestringing" it has put a real cramp into my normal blogging process and I don't think I would do it on a low budget again. I'm not saying it's not worth being here, but I think I could get a lot more done at home to be honest.
The good thing is that I have access to materials and content and people, but the frustration is in not being able to bring that to you. I have so many things to report on and lack of access to post them. When I do have access we'll have someone straggle in for interviews. There's no set time here on Bloggers Row for interviews, so right when you get in the middle of writing something someone will walk in and destroy any potential for finishing it.
So excuse me while I have some technical difficulties.
