Days after September 11, 2001 President Bush vowed to protect America from terrorism. A lot of attention was spent on those overseas while our doors here at home remained opened. Opened to terrorists that is.
Now the Pew Hispanic Center finds that 40% of the illegal aliens in the country today have arrived since 9/11. How many of those illegal aliens are terrorists? Nobody knows, but if even one of them are then President Bush has failed his mission.
As he has declared on many occasions, we have to be successful all of the time and terrorists only have to be once.Once, yet he left our border so open that we have added millions and millions of people to this country whom we know nothing about and probably never will. Even with their amnesty we won't know the true identities of these people since they will not be using their true names to provide proof of residency, but the false names they've been using for years.

Our lack of action has real consequences.
Nobody knows exactly how many people are here illegally, but the Pew Hispanic Center estimates there are between 11.5 and 12 million illegals, and it says 40 percent of them have arrived in the last five years -- in other words, since 9/11.
Congratulations President Bush, you've succeeded in setting us up for numerous terrorist attacks in the future through your lack of action.
