The body of Border Patrol Agent Richard Goldstein was found in the Coachella Canal with his vehicle idling nearby. Goldstein is another victim whose death rests solely in the hands of the government of Mexico and the United States who refuse to crack down on border violence and actually call for an end to the invasion across our southern border.

A U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agent was found dead floating in a canal near the city of Niland, east of Salton Sea, authorities announced Saturday.
Richard Goldstein, 37, a five-year veteran of the Border Patrol assigned to the El Centro Sector's Indio Station, was found floating in the Coachella Canal after agents reported him missing around 3 p.m., Border Patrol Agent David Kim told reporters.
Goldstein was reported missing after agents found his vehicle parked and idling along the Coachella Canal, Border Patrol officials said.
While the story does not report a cause of death my money is on another drug related or smuggling incident that this agent was attempting to prevent. The sad thing is there is a greater likelihood of that than just a simple accident.
I don't know why these Agents do this job. It's a lost cause. Their Supervisors do't back them up and the State and local Goverments won't let them do their jobs.

Why do these agents do this thankless job? Because they still have pride, an love their country. "God Bless Them"!
