Our national immigration policy is being dictated by groups like La Raza, MALDEF and others who are in favor of amnesty for illegal aliens and for our borders to be as unsecured as possible.
From the Washington Post no less we get this piece which puts it front and center.
When Sen. Edward M. Kennedy (D-MA) declared last week that unnamed "stakeholders" would decide whether Congress overhauls immigration law this year, Latino organizations in Washington understood exactly what he meant.
After laboring in obscurity for decades, groups such as the National Council of La Raza, the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund, and the National Immigration Forum are virtually being granted veto power over perhaps the biggest domestic issue coming before Congress this year. Organizations that represent what is now the nation's largest minority group are beginning to achieve power commensurate with their numbers.
"There's a real sense that the Latino community is key to the solution in this debate, so now they are reaching out to us more than ever," said Eric Gutierrez, lead lobbyist for the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund, or MALDEF. "Neither party wants to make a misstep politically."
Such groups were practically in the room yesterday, maintaining contact as Democratic and Republican senators tried to hammer out a new immigration bill before a deadline set by Senate Majority Leader Harry M. Reid (D-NV)
Yes, let the fox into the hen house. These groups have more nefarious goals than just getting amnesty passed for illegal aliens. For instance La Raza has had ties to the Aztlan reconquista movement through the racist group MEChA and MALDEF has continuously stood in the way of American citizens remaining in controlling of their cities by cracking down on illegal immigrant gangs and crime.
These groups aren't looking out for the best interests of the American people, but only those of Hispanic descent. That is not the American way and groups named La Raza (literally "The Race") should be laughed out of the room when it comes to their input on immigration reform and enforcement. The fact that they are actually being listened to by the likes of Kennedy, Reid and other Senators on both sides of the aisle should sent shivers through your spine.
Digger La Raza is funded by the Ford Foundation and now funded by the 10 million in perpetuity recently submitted by the house of representatives for approval. They inturn fund MALDEF. The large international corporations created these organizations to undermine our constitutional form of government.
They do not represent the illegal alien invaders as much as they represent the international corporate interests that fund them and buy our elected leaders' votes in congress and the White House. Kennedy is bought and paid for as is all of the elected officials who support open borders, amnesty in one world government.
We have found the enemy and it is us. It is our elected officials. Membership in these radical groups remains relatively small for the clout they get in Washington. The reason appears to be because they are a front for the corporations who are pulling the strings. That is why H. Clinton, and Obamba and McCain and Kennedy and Reid give the excuse the hispanics want this legislation. These groups are not representative of Hispanics as much as the Ford, Rockefeller foundations and the globalists who want to open our borders.
