I met with the Warminster, Pennsylvania Immigration Group last night, July 23, 2007. This is a group of grassroots patriots in the area who are spurring not only local true immigration reform, but at the state level as well.
The group organizes protests, brainstorms and also discusses current immigration related issues at the federal level. The two hour meeting went well and included a video of an interview with Mike Curtis of the Pennsylvania Minutemen and numerous upcoming events in the Pennsylvania area. An actual new federal bill was proposed last night by Tom (not pictured above) regarding the usage of people's SSN's by criminals and illegal aliens that seems promising and I'll be getting behind if we can bring it to fruition. Also discussed was bringing Chris Burgard into town to show his movie Border.
Ruth showed off our Mexican Consulate protest video from Philadelphia this weekend. I also gleaned a little more information that is worthy of their own posts and I'll be putting them together in the near future.
A number of the members couldn't make it last night, due to personal matters, but I'm hoping to make it back to future meetings to meet them all.
