Dustin Inman |
Many of you notice that I link to the
Dustin Inman Society on numerous occasions. It is definitely the place to go if you need information on the fight to enforce our immigration laws in Georgia. The website is run by D.A. King, but most people may be wondering who Dustin Inman was. Dustin Inman, 16, was killed by an illegal alien driver. You can find out more about Dustin Inman at the page
Who Was Dustin Inman? Dustin was just another senseless death that a family has had to deal with because our government refuses to enforce immigration laws.
Things are starting to change in Cobb County, Georgia though. In July Sheriff Neil Warren implemented 287(g) training for his deputies. This allows screening of jail inmates for their legal status and marks illegal aliens so that they can be turned in to Immigrations and Customs Enforcement rather than be released on to our streets.

Anyone with a few brain cells would admit that 287(g) is a common sense approach and should have been in place all along. Before that many criminal illegal aliens were simply released back into US communities and not sent back home. But all is not rosy in this country and in communities across America. 287(g) has only been implemented in a handful of areas, though there is a long waiting list for training by the Department of Homeland Security by law enforcement agencies across this nation. That's right, this is not standard practice if you can believe it and for the past 40-50 years illegal aliens were treated like every other criminal in this country. They'd serve their time and be released.

The families of Dustin Inman and Ken Shackleford, the father of
Chris Shackleford who was killed by an illegal alien drunk driver in Marietta, Georgia, appear in a news segment below on illegal immigration in Cobb County and their 287(g) program.
Fortunately the station WSB TV in Atlanta doesn't give the supporters of illegal aliens much time in this segment as they really have no arguments other than "this is racist" of which we are all getting sick of hearing. How anyone can be against returning a foreign national to their country of origin after they have committed a crime in the United States is beyond me.
