That's right. I'm not wishing you a Happy New Year like everybody else on the Internet. I will however wish you a Vigilant New Year.
Be vigilant with your children.
Be vigilant with yourself.
Be vigilant for your country.
Take a look around. How have you done in the last year? Have you done your best? If not, its time for some changes.
Have you done something for your country this year? If not, maybe it's time to step up and devote a few hours at the very least this year.
Have you increased your outlook on life? Or have you allowed it to devolve into a constant anger or hate at something, someone, politics or some other thing? If so it's time to be proactive instead of reactive. Take steps that are made with a positive outlook and optimism, instead of pessimistic and based off of being fed up.
As far as illegal immigration goes, it seems like a lot of it is based on reactive or angry steps. Anger at the injustices that have been forced upon us in this country for decades and that we are expected to live with or pay for.
While most of the topics that I post on and that are coming out through shows like Lou Dobbs, expose the travesties we face daily, there is at no time, from my point of view, a feeling of giving up. All of my posts are with the thought that by exposing the threat and ridiculousness that continues to go on that there will be a positive change. That our leaders will wake up and take the proper course of action for the people of our country that they are, by law, charged with doing. Not China. Not Mexico. Not Latin America. Not Russia. Not the Middle East. Not Africa. America!
So I wish you a Vigilant New Year... and through vigilance the byproduct will of course be happiness. Happiness through doing your best for yourself, your children and your country.
