How many times do I have to cover this subject? The continued pandering to races by politicians is sickening. If it's not looking for the "Black vote" it's looking for the "Hispanic vote". Whatever happened to looking for the "American vote"?This time around it's not a Spanish language only debate, it's a Spanish language TV ad by presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani.
Do I have to remind the former mayor of New York that only US Citizens can vote in an election and that in order to become a US Citizen you must speak and read English. In other words who these ads are targeted at is unclear. Are they targeted at Spanish speakers who may be fraudulently voting in our elections? What's wrong with English ads? It really is an insult to all Americans when a candidate tells a certain race or segment of society that they are more important by broadcasting ads that only they can understand.
The ad is called "Liderazgo" or "Leadership" in English. True leadership however would require a spine and not pandering to a single race of people.
The ad is below
"Do I have to remind the former mayor of New York that only US Citizens can vote in an election and that in order to become a US Citizen you must speak and read English."
Digger, tragically, we both know this is no longer true. Check the ACLU web site. Vote Ron Paul to stop this rape.
But maybe we can then vote in Mexico's elections? Pat Buchanan for presidente of Meh he co!!!
