Great news coming on the Lou Dobbs for President front. Lou Dobbs stated on the Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer that he might be "a candidate last resort".
This is the first time that Lou Dobbs has actually spoken on being an actual candidate and with the current crop of candidates I welcome this statement.
The Situation Room February 21, 2008
BLITZER: So does that mean a viable third party alternative candidate is not going to necessarily emerge or will emerge?
DOBBS: I happen to believe that a third party candidate will emerge because there is such a void here in leadership and that I think it's almost a certainty.
BLITZER: All right. But it's not going to be Lou Dobbs, right?
DOBBS: Well, as I have said before, you never say never and I might be a candidate last resort but I'm sure as heck not a candidate now. thank you very much.
Lou has been fighting for the good of all Americans for years via his show. Some may say "well he's just a talking head". I can assure you though that there is much more to Lou Dobbs than just the reporting and Talking Head aspect. Behind the scenes Lou is running the show and making decisions, he's not just your typical network anchor who just reads a screen.
I urge everyone now at this point to head over to Lou Dobbs for President and pledge your support to a Lou Dobbs candidacy.
We need to do this now!
Either that or we can sit around and bitch and moan that our country continues to go down the drain and our leader doesn't care. Lou Dobbs cares! He truly does. And Lou Dobbs stands for common sense.
Show your support now!
Lou Dobbs for President
I really like Dobbs, but I recently came across a bit of confusing news. It appears that Glenn Spencer has been trying to get both the folks at the Washington Times and the Lou Dobbs show to report on the actual amount of border fencing that has been built. He just recently completed an actual aerial survey, that shows only a small portion of the fence has been built. A large part of the "fencing" the DHS is claiming is actually vehicle barriers that can be walked thru. They look like most of the ones you see in front of Federal buildings. Vehicle barriers are not pedestrian fencing and not the required double fence. Neither Dobbs or the Times has reported on the real facts.
Perhaps Dobbs is preparing for a run and wants to soften his stance, but it still doesn't make much sense. http://www.americanpatrol.com/
