Barack Obama was in France today on a "non-campaign visit". I flipped around the news today looking for someting to watch and ended up on Comedy Central, but previous to that I watched about 5 minutes of a press conference with Obama and Sarkozy. All I have to say is that Obama sounded like a stuttering buffoon. Obama is really horrible at on the fly questioning. It's a series of "uh eh uh" before each word or sentence. The responses are not that of a man of conviction, but a man searching for the politically correct thing to say or the most politically advancing thing to say.
When I first saw Obama in 2004, at the Democratic National Convention, I was quite impressed with the man. It was my first exposure to him. Since then he has given some good speeches. Now, watching him in a press conference, I don't see how he can possibly be a good president. He has no beliefs it seems. A normal person with beliefs would not have to stutter before every word or phrase as if waiting for a prompt from his earpiece on how to respond. Bush is bad, but it seems Obama is just as horrible when it comes to actually answering a question.
It seems the only thing pushing Obama along is his cult of personality or the fact that people are painting him with what they want and not who he truly is.
Oh, all that and the fact he marched through our streets with millions of illegal aliens a few years ago.

Great observations Digger. He is not a man of convications, but just another run of the mill politician who will say and do anything to get elected! And he stinks when he doesn't have a script to read from or a teleprompter. I don't think we can afford his kind of "change" or "leadership!" I've also been watching his body language with these European heads of state -- HE takes the lead in nudging/guiding them in their home country. He also insincerely touches people a lot like they're his "buddy." He is one of the phoniest candidates to come around in a long time. He makes Sen. John Kerry look like a man of substance...

"He has no beliefs it seems."
Oh, he has beliefs. Check out Trinity church's website and all will become clear, especially the "denial of the pursuit of middleclassness" and it's Afrocentrism. Are you aware he has stated the US taxpayer should pay to educate Africa and he made a speech about a pregnant black woman who was shot during the Rodney King riots, the bullet injurying the fetus (resulting in a damaged for life baby) and the fault lying with the American people?
Why doesn't the news carry these things and let the voter decide? Because they are afraid that by reporting true reality they will be labeled "racists;' that is, by exposing his racism the messenger is racist (screwy).

You are the epitomy of racism. You have nothing positive to write about any nationality or ethnicity. Your problem with Senator Obama is that he is firstly Black. Nothing else can be understood because your fatally flawed small mind is clouded with hatred, racism, and bigotry therefore, you are only able to find in someone else what you yourself possess, none of which the senator characterizes. Secondly, Senator Obama is a man of brillance, integrity, respectability, charisma, and faith. If these are the only flaws you are able to find in Senator Obama, then I deem him to be a great man and even greater president. You resent what he represents because you lack these qualities. As for Pelosi, again, you do not possess the intellect or the ability to judge another or circumstance appropriately. Again, resentment. Get over it, start with a small measure of faith and begin to enjoy the wonderful, marvelous life we share in this great country, America by laying aside your flaws.

Wow Rasil, really? You think that Pelosi has done a bang up job? You must be one of the 9% who think congress is doing great.
As far as race, I'm assuming that your comments were directed to the commenter Ken above and not to my post, which simply critiqued his speaking on the fly.
It seems the only thing pushing Obama along is his cult of personality
We have a winner!

You say Obama looked like a "stuttering" fool in France? With comments like that, it is obvious that your head is in your dumb@ss!! Obama couldn't "stutter" if he faked it! The man is too brilliant, too articulate, too erudite and just too damned smooth to do such! Now, had you said "Dubya," or "I can't remember what I had for breakfast this morning" McCain, then you would have been onto something. The only thing you succeeded in doing is exposing your racism and ignorance. If you don't intend to vote for the man, then big fuggin' deal! But to make a claim that he looked like a "stuttering" fool tells me that you obviously don't know what stuttering means!
You're pretty dayumed dumb if you ask me!!

I will not argue with you. Go watch the video. It's a serious of "err umm"'s and "ehh ahh"'s
As I said above, I was impressed with Obama when I first saw him. I guess if you want to consider that a racist comment it is more telling of your lack of intelligence than me continuing to point.

What passes for serious policy for most of you is laughable. Obama is an embarrassment, he behaves like a talk show host and is more worried about his own popularity. And sucking up to Hugo Chavez?
The real question what's his agenda? I don't know anything he's said that's substantive, except that he wants to socialize America and make major revisions to our constitution; including elimination of the second amendment. Maybe the reason he is cozying up to Hugo, is that like Chavez, he wants to be president for life. Thank God for Sarkozy and Mirek Topolanek, the world needs a few leaders right now. Having Obama running around publicly flogging the US for its existence, and behaving like the latest cheap comedian on the tonight show, is not that (nor looking out for Americas interests).
The Obamination--his only fealty is to himself. Obama's world: it's all about Obama.
