Raul Nuñez, 32, an illegal alien deported in 2001 on drug charges jumped the fare for a NYC subway. When two officers caught Nuñez he struggled with them. One of the officers guns fell from his holster and Nuñez picked it up and shot the cops at point blank range multiple times.

Nuñez was shot 4 times by a third cop,
Lt. Gary Abrahall, as he tried to flee the scene up an escalator. The tense struggle lasted only minutes, but has changed the lives of the American Citizens and law enforcement involved. The two cops,
Jason Maass and
Shane Farina, were in the hospital. Maass luckily only suffered a grazing shot to his back, but Farina was critically wounded when a bullet passed just under his bulletproof vest.
Nuñez suffered shots to the legs and torso and was at Bellevue hospital receiving free health care that these officers are now paying for with their taxes.
Of course if we actually had any semblance of border security along our southern border then Nuñez would not be in this country and another travesty on the American people would not have been committed.
It's outrageous.

The crackling burst of violence occurred after Nuñez swiped a student MetroCard, setting off an alarm in the token booth on the upper level where Lt. Gary Abrahall was stationed, authorities said.
Abrahall radioed Maass and Farina about the fare-beater, and the two cops grabbed Nuñez and got one handcuff on him. He immediately began to struggle, and knocked them to the ground.
In the scuffle, a source said, Maass' gun fell to the platform and Nuñez grabbed it. He then stood over the two cops and fired two pointblank shots at them, a source said.
Racing from the bloodshed, Nuñez headed up an escalator, turning back to fire another shot at the wounded cops. But Abrahall was waiting at the top. Though Nuñez fired three times at the lieutenant, he missed, and Abrahall hit Nuñez four times.

Can't afford to deport them? Can't afford even one billion for a real fence? Yet a trillion dollars to bail out wall street, with more to come?...emergency! Against the will of the People they rammed that pork laden bill through in a few days.
And someone says we need to do our patriotic duty and pay MORE taxes? BULL. No amnesty for congressman, no amnesty for illegals. Deport 'em all, congress too.
Path to citizenship? NO WAY NO HOW NOBAMA.

NY news channels are reporting that the illegal alien, Nunez, was living in subsidized housing. The same stations interviewed people in various (pro-illegal) organizations who all attributed Nunez attempt to murder 2 policemen to our immigration laws and the illegal alien's fear of being deported.
On the same day it was reported that a group of illegals who were disrupting a neighborhood and, after refusing to obey police orders to disband, were arrested. Today they were released "with the promise that they would not be reported to ICE."
The final insult to the two wounded policemen: the mayor who has declared NY boroughs a sanctuary city, Bloomberg, by-passed the voters, went straight to city council, and declared he will amend the two-term laws and stay on as mayor for a 3rd term.
Police Chief, Kelly, never expressed anger re the illegal alien's attempted murder of two policmen; instead, he commented that the policemen were "lucky."
Welcome to the SanFrancisco of the East Coast!
