Jake and MJ, better known as the Freedom Folks, were evicted from a meeting being held by the Illinois Coalition For Immigrant and Refugee Rights (ICIRR) that included speakers and attendees such as their Congressman Luis Gutierrez. The meeting to support illegal aliens was held at the Teamsters headquarters. Funny how a labor union supposedly there to defend the wages and opportunities for American workers is siding with those in support of illegal aliens. Illegal aliens who are driving their members wages down and allowing businesses to sidestep safety regulation because there is such an oversupply of workers with the huge amount of illegal aliens in the area.
The Freedom Folks were not there to disrupt the meeting, but simply to film it as other media outlets were allowed to do, including Telemundo. The other media people were allowed to stay, Jake and MJ were asked to leave under threat of calling security.
It is amazing that their congressman, Luis Gutierrez, can speak and attend these meetings that support foreign illegal aliens, but his own American constituents are thrown out. However this is not the first time that Gutierrez has chosen to take the side of illegal aliens over those of American citizens. In April 2007 for instance a group of American citizen lobbyists who went to talk to him and question his stance on illegal aliens had the Capitol police called on them and they were detained.
So what were they discussing at the ICIRR meeting? Well along with amnesty, I'm sure a whole host of other benefits that illegal aliens will receive that Americans will not. MJ mentions a few of their demands in the video below.
As MJ notes at the website:
... what didn’t they want us to see and hear? If what they’re pushing for is so wonderful — and so appealing to the American people — why don’t they want actual, unedited footage of the event out there for all to see...
The answer is that it’s NOT so wonderful, and it’s NOT appealing to the American people. Because, if it were, we’d have been greeted with open arms, not a boot in the ass...
It seems Gutierrez DOES understand the concept of deportation. Funny how this sensitive, empathetic, caring man doesn't care about American citizens.
What a coincidence his name is Gutierrez. It seems the "hispanic voters" put their race ahead of their country and our immigration laws.
LaRaza, the (bronze) race racist? Say it can't be so... No more than "white power" is racist.
