Apparently all it takes in this country to shut someone's free speech down is to act like an ass, attack the speaker, break some windows and threaten people. That is what happened yesterday at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill as Tom Tancredo showed up to deliver a speech regarding the DREAM Act and why he opposes it.
Violent threats of "Yes, racists, we will fight, we know where you sleep at night!" and other general "racist" shouts from the illegal alien supporters turned violent as one illegal alien supporter attempted to physically attack event coordinators and apparently diverted by pepper sprayed. Illegal alien supporters acted shocked at the fact that tasers were brought out and kept talking about it as if their "rights" to use violent threats and act like violent thugs were being violated. That is what they have been taught and they are shocked when actually faced by someone who won't let them. Spoiled little brats.
"Yes, racists, we will fight, we know where you sleep at night!"
Imagine for just one minute if those opposed to illegal immigration got together at a rally and threatened to attack illegal aliens in their homes at night? Every single one of those people would be arrested, yet it appears that not a single thug shouting that they were going to attack people in their homes at night was arrested.
Tancredo's speech did get off however for a bit. As Tancredo spoke though these anarchist thugs moved in front of Tancredo with a big banner that read "No one is Illegal" and disrupted his speech and tried to cover him with the banner. As security moved in a protester outside the room bashed in a window with a sign spraying glass all over a female attendee of the event. Violence is the course of action of these people and they don't care who they hurt in the process whether it is someone on their side or the other.
"They are what's wrong with America today. … When all you can do is yell epithets, that means you are intellectually bankrupt.”
- Tom Tancredo
Security then shut the speech down! Yes, they shut the speech down and instructed everyone to leave. They allowed free speech to be declared dead at UNC because they couldn't properly control a group of thugish kids being manipulated by those with anarchist and socialist agendas. So they ended the speech and the thugs win.
A clear sign was sent today that the rule of law and the rights of people guaranteed by the constitution in this country are dead. I predict that eventually those whose rights are being infringed upon will get sick of eating this without receiving any justice. You can only push law abiding people around for so long when criminals and thugs are not being punished for violating the law.
Here's what the thug's organizer said after the event:
UNC graduate student Tyler Oakley, who had organized the protest, said he regretted the broken window but not silencing Tancredo. “He was not able to practice his hate speech,” said Oakley. “You have to respect the right of people to assemble and collectively speak.”
Tyler Oakley should be brought up on charges of violating Tancredo's civil rights and all of those who were going to speak at the event. But of course that won't happen because in this country it's only a crime if it's some socialist or criminal's "rights" who are violated. Like those of illegal alien drug smuggler Aldrete-Davila when he was shot in the butt by Border Patrol Agents Ramos and Compean and then filed a $5 million lawsuit against the United States for violating his civil rights.
Tancredo responded to the violence, cursing, threats and violation of his rights after the event:
“Fascists are fascists,” Tancredo said. “Their actions were probably the best speech I could ever give. They are what's wrong with America today. … When all you can do is yell epithets, that means you are intellectually bankrupt.”
I 100% agree. However, I think people need to start suing these groups who time and time again violate their rights to free speech through violence, noise, gang behavior and general anarchist attitude and hatred of America and the rights of Americans in it. Conservatives and Independents have been just a little too nice about the constant attacks on them and I think it's about time for them to start hitting back legally.
William Gheen, President of ALIPAC and the one who shot the videos below, has much more at his full report
Tonight, I traveled to UNC Chapel Hill to hear retired Congressman Tom Tancredo speak about why he opposes the Dream Act Amnesty and in-state tuition for illegals.
... as I entered Bingham Hall, I immediately pulled out my video camera to film the conflict between pro-illegal alien protesters and police outside door of the meeting room. ... Police refused to let anymore protesters enter for safety reasons and when they did that, the pro-illegal alien protesters made physical contact with the officers. Officers deployed pepper spray and activated a hand held taser, although they did not use it on anyone.
... Most of the protesters were younger and many were from the UNC campus Hispanic groups. Among their ranks were some students that had a style of dress and hair styles similar to many of the anarchist groups seen around campuses. ... protesters out in the hallways ... were banging on drums or something similar to try and create enough noise to disrupt the meeting.
There were some older adults in the ranks of the protesters near the back of the room who appeared to be the ring leaders.
As Congressman Tancredo started speaking, two anarchist looking girls stood up and unfolded a long banner that read "No One Is Illegal" and many in the crowd sighed and said come on now. Tancredo said that signs were fine and he tried to continue.
Then after a few seconds the two girls winked at each other to give the signal and they moved directly in front of Tancredo putting the sign up physically on his face. Tom tried to pull the sign out of his way and while that altercation took place, the large glass window to the right of Tancredo was shattered by protesters outside of the building.
Read the rest. The videos below show the ridiculousness that words cannot simply express for the many laws broken with no consequences. From threats of violence to actual violence to violating people's rights. How much more are true Americans going to take?
Law breakers under the guise of bleeding hearts disrupt the speech and break in windows They're nothing but thugs. "Save humanity" then they break stuff and attack people who are simply talking.
Prior to the speech a thug tried to attack organizers
