You remember a few days ago when Susan Roesgen went to a Tea Party in Chicago and berated attendees for CNN as a virtual paid counter-protester? Well Founding Bloggers has some video from right after the "report" she did where a self- employed suburban woman took Susan Roesgen to task.
I particularly like where the woman points out the "Republicans Suck Too" sign that was right behind Roesgen as she gave her report. Roesgen tries to claim the sign "wasn't in our field of view", but it's clearly visible in the "report" she gave. As a matter of fact I mentioned that it was the first sign I saw when I was watching it the first time.
Obviously she is lying and they just wanted to focus on the "Liberals Suck" signs. She also can't seem to believe that people may have come to the Tea Parties of their own accord and that they were somehow directed there by some big Republican organization.
I love this self-employed woman. She really does hit the nail on the head of why people attended.
Thanks for posting this. I had not seen it and because of this post I was able to share it with my readers also.
It makes me proud to see that people were not rolling over for this type of treatment. I don't know how much good it did, as the more I talk with leftists, the less confidence I have that logic and reason are the tools necessary to get through to them.
It reminds me of the old saying: A conservative is a liberal who has been mugged by reality.
