Senator Chris Dodd, one of the most corrupt senator on the hill, is expected to announce his retirement today. Dodd is one of the architects of the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA). This act forced banks to loan money to low income people who could not afford the house or face horrendous fines and regulation. Banks loaned money left and right because of fear of people like Dodd. This led to the sub prime mortgage meltdown and the massive punishment imposed on responsible citizens of this country who were paying their mortgages on time and only buying homes they could afford. The responsible citizens paid through higher taxes for bailing out these mortgages and banks, lower home values destroying their equity and neighborhoods strewn with vacant and foreclosed houses.
On top of all of this Senator Chris Dodd has of the worst records on immigration enforcement in this country. That is not surprising coming from a senator, as most of the senate is a bunch of amnesty pushing anti-Americans, but Dodd's level of illegal immigration support goes far beyond the norm.
Dodd is the epitome of emotion politics and altruism at its worst. He put forth and passed legislation that was all about "we can't be mean" and had nothing to do with logic, reason or thoughts of the sovereignty of our country and its founding principle of personal responsibility. That is the rallying cry of the liberal left and is at the heart of what is destroying this country. They demand we support those who are not willing to put forth the effort because it's "the nice thing to do". Even at the detriment of your own health, wealth and future security you are expected to bow down to people like Dodd and be forced to give to others until you and your family are left an empty husk.
There is no longer any reason to be gentlemanly when it comes to people like Dodd who are out to destroy this country for their own personal gain and that of their friends. I was thrilled to hear this news and I wish for nothing but ill will for Mr Dodd in the future as he has imposed his ill will and suffering on the American people of this nation for far too long. Good riddance to pure fecal rubbish.

Connecticut Sen. Christopher Dodd, chairman of the Senate Banking Committee, is set to announce he will not seek re-election this fall, Fox News confirmed early Wednesday.
The five-term Democrat's decision is the latest in a string of big-name Democratic retirements revealed on Tuesday as the party struggles to contend with a challenging political climate.
Word of his retirement came hours after North Dakota Democrat Byron Dorgan announced he will not seek re-election, stunning many in his party.
The departure of Dodd, first elected to the Senate in 1980, carries the most symbolic value because of his seniority and his close association with the financial system bailout and other economic policies.
