Every day truly heroic and patriotic Americans are dying. They are not dying on the field of battle, they are dying from the unconquerable disease of living. These World War II Vets are one of the greatest treasures of the United States. In this day and age their sage wisdom, sacrifice and beliefs are being tossed aside for a "new vision" of what America is all about.
This "new vision" has time and time again proven to fail, yet the powers that would implement it will not stop in their efforts at destroying this great country and the rights it brings to individuals to pursue their goals and lives unhindered.
In Gray Eagles, a documentary by Chris Woods which you see below, one such hero of World War II has the chance to reconnect with his past. To visit an old friend that carried him through his trying days as a young man in a war and who brought him home safely. It is the story of the P-51 Mustang and Jim Brooks who flew them. He describes it as a "girlfriend" you don't want to go away.
Every day great men like Jim Brooks are fading away...
As you'll see in the video below, not even Jim's grandchildren knew how much he was loved and how much of a hero he was to this nation. People lined up just to meet him. Just to touch him.
Unfortunately most of the youth in this country would see Jim on the street and just think of him as some old guy, but watching the video below should make you realize that that old War vet down the street has more to him than just some creaking bones. The next time you see him, thank him for his service and for setting an example of what this country truly means.
Watch the video below. It is the best 30 minutes you'll spend today.
After watching the documentary, head over to the Gray Eagles website and order a copy. Keep our remarkable history alive.
