A Mexican cartel cut up a man into seven pieces and then skinned his face and sewed it onto a soccer ball as a warning to rival cartels. Before you think this is just happening in Mexico, these are the groups that have a full hold on the smuggling of illegal aliens into our country. If you think that these vicious animals are not also crossing the border along with the"hard workers" then you are sadly mistaken. They could be living right next door to you today.
Don't go to Mexico, it is a dangerous place.
Somehow the official Visit Mexico website forgot to list "violent death", "kidnapping" and "soccer ball face stitching" as one of the picks for "Adventure Tourism" on their website.

The body of 36-year-old Hugo Hernandez was left on the streets of Los Mochis in seven pieces as a chilling threat to members of the Juarez drug cartel. A note read: "Happy New Year, because this will be your last."
To drive home the point, the assailants skinned Hernandez's face and stitched it onto a soccer ball.

Unfortunately, drug cartel-related violence in Mexico is out of control and innocent people who just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time are the ones who suffer the consequences. Case in point: over a dozen teenagers who were attending a private party (in which no drugs or alcohol were served) were shot to death in Ciudad Juarez this past weekend and (perhaps most shockingly) the adults who tried to get the few survivors to safety were also shot at by the perpetrators. It's been said that not one of the teenagers at the party had any drug cartel affiliation or connections but that one MAY have witnessed a drug-related murder or kidnapping and that this was the cartels' retribution. Lord help us...
