(Leominster, Massachusetts) Illegally in the United States and previously deported, a 23-year-old Guatemalan national, Aaron Noel Camey Valenzuela, was arrested after a canine-assisted three-hour manhunt for allegedly slashing two women.
Valenzuela faces charges of attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
The slashing incident occurred yesterday morning at Valenzuela's work location, the United Solutions manufacturing facility in Leominster. Valenzuela allegedly slashed a female co-worker, his ex-girlfriend, and then another woman who tried to intervene.
There had been a domestic incident between Camey and his girlfriend at the company three weeks ago, and the company put the two in separate departments.
The girlfriend was taken to UMass-Worcester, where she was last listed in stable condition.
The other woman was treated and released at Leominster Hospital.
It's not unusual that a domestic dispute escalated to serious physical violence nor is it unusual that an illegal alien is gainfully employed at an American company in Massachusetts.
And, sadly, it's also not unusual for illegal aliens to be deported and subsequently reenter the U.S. over and over. The fact that it's newsworthy is because it's not unusual. Deportation has become the equivalent of a speed bump on the road to retirement from a career with a U.S. company.
All in all, it wouldn't be surprising to learn that some illegal aliens use vacation time accrued with an American company to weather pesky deportations.
"Hey, Boss, I need to take my vacation now. The government is deporting me."
"Okay, see you next month."
Heh.
This country needs leadership, which Obama hasn't given, this is the only country that allows its citizens to pay 123 billion a year to host illegal criminals. Allows criminals to live in our mist, not knowing who they are( gang members, murders, rapist), and what diseases they carry .
There shouldn't be a debate about immigration laws, what we need is enforcement, do we give amnesty to bank robbers if their not caught? The liberals, greedy business, and vote hunger elected officials have and is selling America out as we debate our immigration laws to better fit their needs or to seem politically correct.
We have a president that has come up with 125 ways to give legal status to criminals, instead of adhering to the laws and enforcing them, he deports 400,000 illegals but gives 300,000 work permits to illegal immigrants that will lead to citizenship, he attacks states that are drowning from this illegal invasion, hospital closing, welfare rates rising from illegals being able to excess government programs because of anchor babies.
Yes, immigration laws do need to change, to stop illegals from having excess to social programs, and the 4th amendment needs to be addressed concerning illegal immigrants born in this country.
The securing of American boarders and ports should be paramount as we face a 21st century of home grown terror.
That will start with voting Obama out in 2012, securing America and stop giving billions to criminals who entered this country illegally.
