I get both supportive comments and opposing comments, but every once in a while I get one that is supportive, yet cautious. This is a comment I received to my article "What Is Obama Hiding?"
From reader Regile:
First look at what is and see where we are going with it. The powers that be are now in control be careful what you say they are listening and one day they will hold it against you. please all, be slow to voice your opinion in the open because soon they will hold it against you the end is here for what we all know to be freedom and justice, control is what they want and the world is where they want it. Be safe
I was going to respond in the comments section to his statement. However, I instead will post it front and center for all to see. I find it the only proper way to respond.
I refuse to be silent!. To "the powers that be", I say come get me and execute me... In doing so you will one day be executed yourself. For once the die is cast, and revolution is the only option, your same logic will be used in the future to decide your fates.
If it comes down to freedom or death and I cannot have freedom, someone prepare my grave. - Dan Amato

Excellent post. YOU KEEP SAYING THE TRUTH!
Only wish your site could get more traffic and participation, because America needs your insights & passion! Yours is one of the few remaining sites that permits people to have a say (i.e., post a comment) without first demanding all their life data and then stalking and surveilling every damned thing they say. Even Breitbart.tv just caved in (clearly to PRESSURES FROM SOMEBODY TO CRACK DOWN ON POSTERS CRITICIAL OF THE POWERS THAT BE) and breitbart.tv now demands "registration" with "intensedebate.com" as a way of tracking and tracing and cross-indexing every friggin' comment anybody makes. NO THANK YOU!
Keep up your good work, Digger, and try to get more TRAFFIC & PARTICIPATION.
Best wishes!

We are all witnesses to the results of remaining silent.
On the 4th of July, more than any other day, it is important we remember our forefathers fought and died in order that we would have, among other things, freedom of speech.

Don't remain silent.
Remaining silent and hiding in your homes gave us Obama as president.
Never be silent. Fight out loud for your country.

I had great hopes of Obama, in that he said he would bring our medical system more in line with those of other industrialised western nations. However, in the event he caved in to special interests although, I hope one may excuse the caving in because, for now, he's getting what he can and opted for an incremental approach.
To the question you pose: "What is Obama hiding?" One of the problems inherent in answering this truthfully is that the inevitable result will be accusations of racism by the American race relations industry. Anyway, here goes:
I think he's getting a severe dose of reality. In the past the president has had his path smoothed for him and in consequence had developed an over-rated opinion of his abilities to the point of becoming arrogant and contemptuous of the opinions of others. I believe he is now realising that the "gift of the gab" is no substitute for real ability and is trying to hide his inadequacies. Note that questions from the public, his announcements and utterances are now controlled by his handlers.
It's fair to add that I think he was set up. The Republicans knew that whoever won the election would be taking over an awful mess. So much of mess that they wanted to lose so that at the next election they could come riding to the rescue. Do political strategists think that far ahead?
What irritates me about this administration is that the public overwhelmingly supports Arizona in its attempt to control the costs of illegal immigration but Obama et al ignore them. It's that arrogance again. Of course, one must not forget that Obama and members of his administration, congress and those in high places do not suffer the consequences of illegal immigration in the same way that that most of their fellow citizens do.
Regards,
Norm
