Wordpress blog host Blogetery and 73,000 of its blogs have been snuffed. Although details are still very tentative, here’s what we know: Blogetery’s entire site has been taken down, and the company’s ISP is claiming that they had to terminate Blogetery’s account immediately after being ordered to do so by law enforcement officials, “due to material hosted on the server.”
“This was not a typical case, in which suspension and notification would be the norm,” Blogetery’s ISP said. “This was a critical matter brought to our attention by law enforcement officials. We had to immediately remove the server.”
Although TorrentFreak speculates that this is part of a recent Homeland Security effort to take down file sharing sites, that doesn’t quite make sense: surely in that case Blogetery would have been asked to pull specific infringing blogs, not have the rug yanked out from under them. Developing….

This is upsetting but not too surprising.
Look around you: REPRESSION AND CURTAILING OF FREEDOM OF SPEECH IS HAPPENING MORE & MORE BY THE DAY. And it is only going to get WORSE, as more people SPEAK OUT against the repressions happening in our once-free society. This thin-skinned government, with its own self-serving agenda, seems adamant about quashing criticism. God help us all, because when they cut off our ability to speak Truth or to communicate with one another, we become extremely vulnerable to other State abuses.

We have a President that has spent more money in two years than all the other Presidents in history combined. That should be enough of a wake-up call! He continues to spend like a drunken sailor while he drafts bills designed to put the average American in a world of economic hurt. Now he plans to surrender America to the best interests of Mexico, while he floods the job market with millions of new competitor's that also threaten to overload our social service system's. If this isn't the profile of someone deliberately trying to destroy a nation...then I'll eat my hat!

This is sad I had a blog on Blogetery that got yanked it was just a few post about Web Design and SEO. But I friends that got years worth of work taken down. It took them a while before they could recover. Many of them had to freelance and barely made ends meet. But it was all do to the torrent witch hunt done by the govt. Thankfully for me it was my main SEO and Web Design blog hosted on another sever.
