The abuse of our 14th Amendment to the US Constitution continues and a new article focuses on Texas. At least 60,000 babies are born to illegal aliens in Texas every year, which then allows the parents to qualify for taxpayer funded services and gives them an "anchor" to stay in this country. Crying "woe is me" and "what about the children?" those opposed to clarifying the 14th Amendment continue to beat their drum. The reality is though, they have no legal argument, it is all emotion with no logic.
The 14th Amendment was passed in the 1860's to give citizenship to freed slaves. This amendment has been abused for decades to allow illegal aliens to hop the border and have children here - "Anchor Babies" so that they can continue to remain in this country illegally and rape the wallets of US taxpayers.
60,000 Anchor Babies are born in Texas every year and with them comes the costs of all of the services provided to citizen children, from free health care to free food to free entertainment to free education. This practice must end.
Parkland Memorial Hospital - the hospital that John F Kennedy was brought to after being shot and later died in - is just one example of the hundreds of hospitals across this country providing "free" births to illegal aliens.

Still, the debate could resonate in Texas, where not only 1.5 million illegal immigrants are estimated to reside but at least 60,000 babies are added to their households annually.
Parkland Memorial Hospital delivers more of those babies than any other hospital in the state. Last year at Parkland, 11,071 babies were born to women who were noncitizens, about 74 percent of total deliveries. Most of these women are believed to be in the country illegally.
It's simply outrageous.
Reviews of the hospital say it has become a disgusting rat hole - and I can see why. Wait times of 4-6 hours as illegal aliens pop out their babies ahead of citizens who have been injured.
Parkland is one very busy, dirty, and dreary place. This is where everyone in Dallas who does not have insurance goes for medical treatment. Unless you have a life and death situation in the emergency room here, expect a 4-6 hour wait to see someone.
Coming to a hospital near you!
Just remember every time you hear someone supporting illegal aliens or anchor babies, this is the type of thing they want on a national scale. Hospitals of a third world country paid for on the backs of those actually working.
Parkland is currently trying to raise $1.2 billion in public and private funds for an even larger "anchor baby" processing plant. A "memorial hospital" to the invasion if you will. I wouldn't give them one dime. They should be screaming from the rooftops that they are being forced to work in squalor due to the influx of illegal aliens. Yet you hear not one peep out of them.
Those who oppose clarifying the 14th Amendment are trying to scare people into thinking that this will re-institute slavery. An asinine argument that anyone can clearly see through. One of the largest of these is the Migration Policy Institute
Donald Kerwin, a vice president of the Migration Policy Institute in Washington, D.C., said he feared that altering the current interpretation of that law "would essentially restore the Dred Scott reasoning and create a hereditary underclass in the United States.
"These children, who didn't break any laws, would have no rights and nowhere to go," he said. "It's a very extreme position."
As with all attempts to enforce the law and crack down on illegal immigration, those in favor of illegal aliens over US Citizens try to make the issue into more than it is. They instantly throw out exclamations that this is "extreme" or "complex". Don't believe the hype. There is nothing extreme, nor complex, about clarifying an amendment for what it was intended to be ratified for - the freeing of the slaves.
Estimates are that births to illegal aliens in Texas totaled 542,152 just in just the years between 2001 and 2009. This is just an estimate, I believe the number is probably much higher as hospitals are barred from asking for immigration status and must just perform the delivery - eating the costs themselves or passing them onto US taxpayers. Either way the taxpayer ends up paying as our monies are spent on those who broke the law and are now benefiting from doing so.
